Who is this qualification for?
This supply chain qualification has been developed to support learners completing the Supply Chain Operator Apprenticeship Standard and can be used to assess their readiness for End-Point Assessment. It covers the knowledge, skills and behaviours pass criteria of the standard, as described in the relevant Assessment Plan STO258/AP01. It does not cover any distinction criteria that may be part of the Assessment Plan. This qualification will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to work within the logistics sector as either a Traffic/Transport Officer or a Removals Operative.
It is also designed as a stand-alone qualification for those learners wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification as a Supply Chain Operator.
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake a minimum of 103 hours guided learning.
There are two pathways available to learners for this qualification (of which one must be selected):
Topics include the supply chain industry, communication and customer service, safe use if equipment and machinery, and health and safety.
This supply chain qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence.
